Roles and Responsibilities
|
This position concerns the overall responsibility of Customer Services Department (OPD & IPD), Customer Services Japanese In-house, International Patients Center Registrar, Front desk, Customer Services Sky Lobby and Customer Services, Special languages. In addition, the coordination with Business Development and International program divisions in order provide both local and international patients with the highest standards of service possible in accordance with Bumrungrad Way Principles and Protocols. |

To perform duties in a safe, secure manner and ensure the cleanliness, safety and security of guest and working areas is maintained to the Bumrungrad standards. |
To wear the correct uniform and maintain a neat, clean appearance as specified in the Grooming Standards. |
To contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational and environmental procedures in the hospital. |
To actively promote the services and facilities of the Bumrungrad to patients / customers. |
To prepare, attend and actively participate in departmental communication meetings and nominated training sessions and take responsibility for personal development. |
To perform any tasks of a reasonable nature as required and requested by the Department Manager and Chief Operating Officer. |
To coordinate with each managers in the same department in order to provide the highest standard of services to the customers. |
To report and work closely with the Department Manager and the Chief Administrative Officer to maintain proper workforce, standards and payroll costs. |
To encourage staff development within the department by conducting staff evaluations as required by Bumrungrad HR policies – serving as mentor to staff giving feedback and guidance as required. |
To liaise with the Employee Training Development ensuring new and existing staff are properly trained and kept informed on new and existing procedures with ongoing training programs, be responsible for Career Ladder Program for staff competency improvement and also participate in identifying yearly Personal Goals and IDP. |
To ensure staff and guests relationships are kept at a business level. |
To co-ordinate and communicate in the management level, doctors, nursing team and inter-department colleagues in order to solve the service problems in a polite and constructive manner. |
To liaise with Security center in any irregularities and with Plant Operation in order to maintain anything in the responsibility work areas. |
To deal with any complaints or problems within the department and follow Total Quality Management and Patient Safety Management standards and procedures. |
To review department policies and procedures as required and as specified by JCIA. |
To ensure duty rosters are done according to the hospital volume of business and according to Bumrungrad International standards. |
Able to approve purchase requests as determined by Bumrungrad International position control and ensure department stock and supplies are kept under control. |
To identify resources and equipments required within the department and to ensure that all of equipments are adequate and in good condition. |
To maintain good understanding and good relationship between the organization, external customer and also internal customers. |
To prepare the operational budget and capital expenditure. Planning and controlling of expenses and ensure high levels of productivity are maintained. |
To attend the quality control and hospital mandatory activities or joins with the committees in the hospital. |
Responsible for to the rules and regulations of hospital policy, procedure and work instruction. |
To perform any additional tasks as delegated by either patients or executives to ensure patients / visitors experience the superior first class service Bumrungrad International is known for. |
